Why are those to activities in the same topic? Sitting for long periods or sometimes known as “Desk Jockey Syndrome” shortens and contracts the muscles in the front of the body causing pain and tightness in upper back, Lower back and neck. Deep tissue massage , trigger point and or Ashiatsue deep tissue massage, my clients feel taller and less tight and often pain free after one hour massage. (maybe even after 20 min)
I hear my clients say “I am going to sleep good tonight” and they do! They have learned that shifting from sympathetic to para- sympathetic nervous system makes it possible quit running from the invisible tiger!
